Just tried to look for a room on the holiday inn Capitol Hill website linked from your site and was told that 2 adults and 3 kids are too many for their room capacity.
Thank you so much for notifying us about your experience with the Holiday Inn Capitol hotel.
I phoned the hotel today and learned that because the hotel had a recent renovation, it now cannot accommodate a roll away bed in the rooms with two beds.
The hotel representative did indicate that a Suite, which has a King bed and a King sofa bed, can accommodate a family of 5 with the addition of a roll away bed.
If making a reservation for the suite for 5 people online, first reserve it for 4 (the online reservation system cannot accept 5 people), then contact the hotel directly to request a roll away bed and update the number of guests.
I’ve updated the hotel listing on the Sleeps5 Washington DC page, above.
Keep us posted if you discover anything else that should be updated. We truly appreciate your taking the time to let us know!
