This is fabulous! We have 3 kids and traveled to New York last year and DC this year. Looking for a large enough hotel room in our budget is super stressful and hard to find! Thanks for doing the leg work!
Thank you for your comment! We love to hear that someone has found our website helpful!
Our mission for this website is to help families avoid the inconvenience and expense of reserving two hotel rooms.
We’ll have more hotels and locations to add this year. If you learn of a hotel to sleep a family of 5 that is not listed yet on Sleeps5, do let us know!
Best regards,
Sandy and Holly

We have stayed in the Residence Inn Arlington in Pentagon City and it is great for families! They have 2 bedroom suites that easily fit our family of five. It is close to a mall with a kid friendly food court and close to a metro stop that takes you right downtown.
Dear Katie,
Thank you so much for your comment, and letting us know about the Residence Inn Arlington in Pentagon City! We will look into that and add a listing for it to the Washington DC page.
I’m glad you found a hotel that fit your family, and the location sounds great with the nearby eatery options and easy transportation.
Your information will help other families who are looking for a place to stay in DC. Thank you for taking the time to write!

Thanks so much for doing this! It is alway more difficult finding rooms for a family of 5. We do not like being crammed into one room but in expensive areas, paying for two rooms can be outrageous. Many places will not guarantee adjoining rooms either. We stayed at Kimpton hotel- Rouge in DC. It has a room with 2 queen beds and a bunk bed so could sleep up to 6. The bathroom is a little small.
Dear Carolyn,
Thank you so much for letting us know about your stay at Kimpton Hotel Rouge in DC. That is great to know about the bed configuration, and we’ll add it to our DC list. That information will help other families of 5 or 6 traveling to Washington DC.
We are very thankful for your words of appreciation, as well! It’s nice to know when a family travel planner has found our site useful!
Sincerely,
Sandy Nielsen
