Inn at the Market
The Inn is the only Seattle hotel located in Pike Place Market. It has five larger rooms with two beds that can accommodate a family of 5 with a roll-away bed or crib. Rooms have views or partial views.

The Inn at the Market is a charming boutique hotel. It is decorated in understated traditional Northwest style. There is an ivy-covered courtyard and a rooftop deck with spectacular city, Elliott Bay and mountain views. The hotel is 100% non-smoking, and offers free internet access.

This hotel is a favorite with the Seattle locals where many go for a “staycation”. In the courtyard area, shops like Watson and Kennedy and restaurants such as Café Campagne reside.
Fun Things to Do With Kids Near Pike Place:
For shops and attractions that are more stimulating to the younger set, walk on down a few steps to the market. On the hotel side of the street you can watch Beecher’s making cheese through the glass windows and then pass by the line of Starbuckies outside of the first ever Starbuck’s cafe.
On the east side of the street there are Asian import stands and stores with toys and oddities. There are also cheap and yummy eats, including my favorite Humbow stand, Mee Sum Pastry–possibly the best deal in the city.
Take a picture under the red neon Public Market sign and across from the fish stand where the fishmongers create a spectacle of fish tossing. The arcade shops on the lower levels have all sorts of fun things for kids including a magic shop, comic book store, and other oddities.
You may wish to buy a piece of gum, commence chewing and then add to the infamous Gum Wall which is a bit tricky to find without the Pike Place Market map. The Gum Wall is located where Post Alley begins again starting on the south end of the market (Market Theater exterior wall). Not for the squeamish!
