Sleeps5 Experience:

The hotel is a flower filled, green grass oasis in the desert. Splashtopia is the family fun zone involving pools with all sorts of water activities including a lazy river, two swirly slides, toddler beach, swimming area, pool side food service, quiet shaded craft area, abundant chaise lounges and life guards around every corner. Wristbands for Splashtopia must be worn in order to access the activities. We most appreciated that this resort had something for all generations. The resort includes golfing, tennis, spa with its own pool, quiet (read adult) pool, lounge areas with fireplaces, restaurants and snack bars. All meals were made with quality ingredients and preparation.

*Note regarding room choice: We initially stayed immediately at the edge of Splashtopia which has significant convenience for families, but be aware that enthusiastic music is being played during pool hours as well as the general hubbub of fun and frolic. Folks are allowed to smoke on the deck or patio areas. There was not a lot of smoking but we unfortunately had folks frequently smoking immediately below us. Mild wind currents had the unfortunate consequence of carrying the smoke up over our deck and into our room such that we found it difficult to be on our deck or have our sliding glass doors open. The resort kindly moved us to another location, which was very quiet, albeit not as convenient.
