I have tried three of the hotels listed for New York and the websites say that they only have accommodations for up to two children
Thank you so much for inquiring about methods to book a room for 5 or more.
In our experience, we have found that many hotel websites do not indicate that a room can sleep 5 or more, or the website does not include information that some rooms are larger than others and can accommodate an extra bed.
We usually advise travel planners to contact the hotel’s front desk directly, not a reservation call center, to inquire about a room. Be sure to include the ages of the children, because sometimes an infant would be allowed, but not an older child. If we’ve learned that is the case, that information will be included in the hotel description on Sleeps5.
To find any pertinent booking details about each specific hotel on the Sleeps5 website, click the “Tips and Reservation Info” tab in the gray box on each individual hotel page.
Occasionally, a hotel will change management, or room configurations, or furniture, and then no longer be able to accommodate a family of 5, 6 or more. When we learn about such changes, we remove that hotel from Sleeps5. Please feel free to send us any information about hotels on this website, or about other hotels you’ve found that we can list on Sleeps5. Our aim is to help family travelers!
Thank you for contacting us at Sleeps5. I’m sorry to hear that the Family Suites weren’t mentioned in the email you received from the hotel.
Sometimes hotels do change their configurations, so I wanted to double check. I just phoned the hotel, and the front desk person said the hotel does still have Family Suites for up to 6 people, and the reservation agent confirmed that as well. It was noted to me that those suites are often booked up, so the availability is sometimes limited.
Maybe try emailing again, or phone the hotel, asking for the Family Suites. Perhaps the Family Suites aren’t available for the dates you’ll be in New York.
I hope you find exactly what you need for your travel planning!

I emailed Hotel Belleclaire today and they said their room occupancy max is 4 persons. No mention of a family suite.
