Hôtel Mounéa – Marquay (near Sarlat)

The boutique Hôtel Mounéa is located in the village of Marquay about 20 minutes from Sarlat. This hotel has guestrooms (chambres) that sleep a family of five (5) in their Comfort family Quadruple and Family Quadruple. Each room fits an extra bed, and one of them has a terrace as well.  The hotel staff will supply a complimentary baby cot upon request.  Extra beds are available for 14-15 Euro at the time of this writing.  Plus, all guestrooms have air conditioning.

Experience:

This is a quiet location in a small village conveniently located between major tourist sites in the Dordogne. There is a children’s play area and toys and games available. The outdoor swimming pool is open from May to September. The Hôtel Mounéa staff serves breakfast and or breakfast and dinner at a discounted price for children under 10 years. The nearest restaurant is one kilometer away per their website. Parking is free as is WiFi access. The hotel allows pets with some restrictions. Lastly, this hotel is an excellent value–great for a family watching their travel budget. Who isn’t?
