Billund has an airport and hotels for 5, 6, 7, or 8, one of which is near both the airport and Legoland. However, other Billund hotels, and eateries would require a car. Another option is to stay in nearby Vejle, which has a major train station. Your hotel may be able to help with calling for a van-sized taxi. Vejle has many shops and restaurants that are nearby the hotels.

There is a comfortable, though expensive, bus between Vejle and Legoland. Be sure to check the bus schedule to catch the last bus back to Vejle at the end of the day.
