The Galway Bay Hotel is located just a few minutes from the city of Galway. It has suites and large guestrooms that accommodate a family of five (5), as well as, rooms that can be connected which sleep up to eight (8) people. The Family Suites have a “double” bedroom for parents and another bedroom with a double bed and two single beds for the rest of the gang. The Large Family Bedroom has a double bed, two singles with the option of adding a roll-away. Finally, all guestrooms come with many creature comforts including: T.V., complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee/tea makers, plus travel cots and refrigerators upon request.

The Galway Bay Hotel is a large traditional styled hotel with a swimming pool and beauty spa! It is located across the road from Galway Bay, along the popular Salthill Promenade and right next door to a small amusement park. This location is a great jumping off point for visiting The Wild Atlantic Way, as well as, the Salthill Promenade, Liesureland and the city of Galway. It is a family friendly hotel with many activities oriented towards their entertainment. A “Penguin’s Kids Camp” provides fun for the 4-12 year old guests and free time for parents. Additionally, there is a “Tiny Tots Playroom” (must have parent supervision) for the littlest guests. And last but not least, hotel staff can arrange babysitting for any beleaguered parents. *The Galway Bay Hotel includes breakfast in its rates. Sleeps5 has this hotel listed as “$$$$” but we were able to find much more reasonable rates with various third party booking sites. If your dates are flexible, shop around.
